Cost of living support in Teignbridge

This website draws together statutory and VCSE providers in a signposting website for individuals and advisors. It provides direct links to the Worrying about Money? web tool, the district council website and additional support around money, debt, benefits, energy, health & wellbeing and more.


Torbay Community Helpline

Torbay Community Helpline was originally set up one week before the first COVID lockdown in March 2020 to support vulnerable people across the Bay. The Helpline was so successful, that it continues to help vulnerable people across a wide range of services, providing advice, support, and practical outcomes. If you don’t know where to go or who to contact, call the Helpline. If we don’t know the answer, we will find it for you.

Live Longer Better

This is all about empowering you, the individual to increase and/or maintain your physical ability, cognitive capacity and stay socially connected, to challenge yourself to live the best life YOU can.

The course includes understanding the ageing process on our bodies and our minds. Gives plenty of practical tips on how to develop strength, stamina, suppleness and skill, with taster activities each week to try and speakers join us to share local knowledge and experience.

There are also opportunities to try new groups and classes, join where you would like to, become an Activity Champion and share what you have learnt with others. For more details see the contacts below.

Based throughout Plymouth, the Wellbeing Hubs make it easier for you to access information, health and community services. Each Wellbeing Hub can help you with health advocacy, debt advice, mental health support, opportunities to volunteer, employment advice, and general information and advice.
